We Christians - We want something for God, we go the extra length. God gives us just a topping of the blessing and we think we have arrived. We move away from him using the topping as an excuse.
However, Things start going south and nothing seems to be working, you start trying other alternatives forgetting that the One who gave you the topping is ready to welcome you back.
You go back to Him, ask for Mercy and in His infinite mercy, he shows you love and extends the cufflink of grace to you. Again, he releases the topping and watches you.
Now, ask yourself, do you want to go back to square one or deal with this topping with maturity knowing that you had nothing until something was given?
Besides, does it not make sense that the same person who gave us the topping is faithful to give us the whole package?
I have fallen in that category before and I am sure many of us have experienced this but this time, let us make up our minds and say "I am not going to lean on my own understanding.
God leads and I follow.
That is divine journey!
